Doing well, but anxiety is back

#1

Hello all,

I want to thank everyone for thier past prayers for me, they have been so helpful.

But here I am again asking for support today. Last night I had weird dreams and woke feeling scared.

But let us all please pray for anyone that ADDS thier own prayer request to this thread so we can pray for many that have anxiety, together.

…Our Father…

My husband has an anxiety syndrome, having always been a perfectionist, and he wakes up with anxiety dreams…so I can identify with what happens with you to an extent.

I hope and pray you sleep peacefully tonight. May the angels surround you each night.

St. Michael the Archangel,
defend us in battle.
Be our defense against the wickedness and snares of the Devil.
May God rebuke him, we humbly pray,
and do thou,
O Prince of the heavenly hosts,
by the power of God,
thrust into hell Satan,
and all the evil spirits,
who prowl about the world
seeking the ruin of souls. Amen.

Amen.

In peace I lie down and at once fall asleep, for it is you and none other, Yahweh, who make me rest secure.
Psalm 4:8

For your intention and Trishie’s husband-

Hail Mary, full of grace, the Lord is with thee.
Blessed art thou among women, and blessed is
the fruit of thy womb, Jesus.
Holy Mary, Mother of God, pray for us sinners,
now, and at the hour of our death. Amen.

Praying for all of us who suffer anxiety.

Let nothing disturb you; nothing frighten you.
All things are passing.
God never changes.
Patience obtains all things.
Nothing is wanting to him who possesses God.
God alone suffices.
—St. Teresa Avila

Dear Lord, help this woman and others who suffer from anxiety find peace and freedom from whatever it is that causes their anxiety. May they relax knowing that you are their Protector and Good Shephard and will do everything to keep them safe. Grant these sufferers from anxiety peaceful sleep and days filled with the knowledge that they are under your loving care and providence. Holy Spirit, fill them to the max with your Spirit of peace and love and bring them comfort and rest in their anxiety. I ask this in Jesus’ Name. Amen.

My prayers are with you! Hang in there. I also have anxiety disorder (I’m actually on disability for it as it’s hard for me to work consistently when I’m always running home with panic attacks… :hypno: Grrr!) Very frustrating but prayer helps a LOT.

I often pray that prayer by St. Teresa of Avila that Jennykay posted, and this verse always calms me as well -

“I have said this to you, that in me you may have peace. In the world you have tribulation; but be of good cheer: I have overcome the world.” - John 16:33

Jesus has overcome the WORLD! I can’t overcome my anxiety disorder, but I know that HE CAN! We’ve just got to pray & do our best to trust in Him to get us through the sticky spots.

Feel free to PM me anytime - I’m here as often as I can be!

God bless!

My dear Saviour,
I unite all my affections with the affections of Your most loving Heart;
and I offer them, thus united, to Your eternal Father,
and beseech Him in Your name to vouchsafe,
for Your love, to accept them.
Amen.
