Dr Coleen Kelly Mast?

I was listening to her show and she was thanking everyone for their condolences for the death of her son. I don’t know if I misunderstood or if this is an old show. Just wondered if anyone could shed some light on what happened.

Thanks

Her oldest son recently past away from a heart attack. He was very young and recently became a dad.

Please pray for her family in their time of need.

:crying: She is wonderful! I am so sorry for the loss of her son.

Poor Coleen–first her sister and now her son. She has been through so much this year!! I will be praying for her.

Her son was 29. I heard about this when it happened because her daughter was in town here for a conference. I wondered when the word would start getting around. I would think it would be very hard to get back into a job on the radio, where you have to be so perky, after such a loss. Hopefully it is a comfort to be able to continue to help others and to know of the prayers of her listeners.

I am so sorry for her…but, I know that God is with her. You can HEAR the love of God and neighbor in her voice. You can feel it!

To be able to answer peoples’ questions on psychological issues after such a great tragedy (actually 2 of them) is one who elevated by the Grace of God and the mantle of Mary1

Christ is risen…truly He is risen!

Thank you for clearing that up. How terrible for her and yes she has just a great faith and passes that on to her listeners. Let’s keep her in our prayers.

Absolutely! I was so shocked when the news I about drove off the road. Anyone with children has had the nighmare of harm coming to them–and can empathize with the horror of that trauma becoming real. She is a gift to all who listen to her wise words and she is certainly in my prayers.

This certainly makes my own cross feel a ton lighter. :frowning:

Another woman who is so brave in the face of tragedy is Johnette Benkovic. First she lost her son, and now her husband has been diagnosed with a brain tumor. We must pray every day that God sustains these holy warriors.

Is she also on the radio? I did hear about another female host whose son was in an auto accident perhaps last year this time.

It amazes me sometimes the trials that are sent to those who work for His good.

I’ve been praying for her since her son died in the car accident after surviving the war in Iraq. I was amazed to read a story recently that the biggest killer of soldiers returning from the Iraq War is car accidents.
