Easter vs Pascha

Does anyone else prefer the term Pascha ( latinization of the word passover)rather than Easter (named after the goddess Ishtar) when referring to Christ’s ressurection date.

I use Easter, which is common in my country. If I were to say “Pascha,” I’d always have to say “Pascha/Easter” so that I could be understood.

The pagan stuff doesn’t bother me in the least. Etymology will show that many words have pagan origins. If you start worrying about that, you’ll worry about everything.

I use the term Pesach more than anything, especially as I live in a Jewish area.

I prefer Pascha, but I use Easter so people will know what I’m talking about.
