Eastern Orthodox canon

#1

Does anybody know if they use the Deuterocanonicals?

The canon was decided way before the split, then I guess they should be using it, right?

They do use the deuterocanonicals. In fact, the Eastern Orthodox canon of Scripture is larger than the Catholic canon. Look here for more details.

As far as I’m aware, the difference in canon is not a point of contention between the Orthodox and the Catholic.

Yes, they do. The eastern Christians have varied canons though. Some accept more than others. The Catholic canon is the minimum of all apostolic Christians. It goes back to the councils of Rome, Hippo, and Carthage.
