Emergency prayers needed for parents

#1

My parents are in desperate need of prayers! Please anyone and everyone that can pray for them please do. My parents have been married for 37 years and are having marital problems. My mother is threatening my father with divorce. She threw him out of the house tonight and she went to go play at the casino to deal with her feelings. I think it’s because we think he has the starting of Alheimers and she doesn’t want to deal with it. She threatens him a lot with divorce however they always seem to ride through it. I am so concerned and let down that she would abandon him like this. I know that God will help them if they would just listen, they are not very religious at all any more, which I know is most of their problems. Please just pray for them to find God and to remember what wedding vows truely mean.

Thank you

Praying for your parents, that they may seek God’s help in their trials. And prayers for you too, it sounds like you are really worried about them. :console:

Hail Mary, full of grace
the Lord is with thee
Blessed art thou among women
and blessed is the fruit of thy womb
Jesus
Holy Mary, Mother of God
pray for us sinners
now and at the hour of our death
Amen.

Holy Family and St. Monica, please reunite this couple in love and strengthen their marriage. Please bring them back to one another, and strengthen all marriages in trouble. Give comfort and peace to the OP and all children (adults or kids) who fear for their parents’ marriages. Amen.

Dear Jesus, please hold RachaelRene’s parents close in Your love so that It’s warmth, gentleness, understanding, and forgiveness fills their hearts and minds and heals their relationship.
Please Jesus, awaken her mother to stop treating the poor man in this cruel way that causes insecurity and hurt.
Please comfort him and surround him with love and welcome.
Please help her mother to cope with her troubled feelings and grow in gentleness and repect towards her husband.

Lord, help this couple stay together. May the woman in the relationship remember the vows she made on her wedding day and remain true to them and to her husband. Help this woman find the help she needs in a good priest or therapist. May she not turn to gambling or do anything else that is non-constructive and will not solve her problems. May her problem with her husband’s sickness be solved by turning to you in prayer and reaching deep down into her heart for the good she has to give to her husband. Help this woman have good friends to help her, Lord. This must be difficult on her, may she not have to go through her suffering alone. Please keep this couple together, Lord. Amen.

Hail, holy Queen, Mother of mercy;
our life, our sweetness and our hope. To
thee do we cry, poor banished children of
Eve: to thee do we send up our sighs,
mourning and weeping in this vale of tears.
Turn then, most gracious Advocate, thine
eyes of mercy toward us, and after this our
exile, show unto us the blessed fruit of thy
womb, Jesus, O clement, O loving, O sweet
Virgin Mary. Pray for us, O holy Mother of
God that we may be made worthy of the
promises of Christ. Amen.
