It would seem they are in an indirect way stating it’s okay to live in homosexual marriages and relationships and somehow that can be good for some people.
Some of them seem to have put sodomitical marriages on equal par to normal heterosexual marriages or suggest that the Church should bless same sex marriages.
That’s the best way I can describe it to you.
I’m not trying to hyper focus on that one issue because it’s one of many.
Both clergy and lay people acting as though all religions are equal.
Clergy, religious and laity promoting the idea of women priest.
Pastors putting forth this odd theology that if they keep their parishioners in the dark about the spiritual state of their lives for the good of their family or because they are ignorant that somehow them taking communion will not be sacrilegious.
This idea is that if a person is ignorant of their sin then it will not be a mortal sin but it is still a grave sin and it might be even be a sin of presumption.
In any case receiving the bread of life unworthily and making a sacrilegious communion is triple times worse than any mortal sin that a person might already have on their soul because it can cause death, sickness and judgement 1 Corinthians 11:27.
That issue covers an array of people.
During the Jansenist heresy people were not receiving communion at all causing Jesus much pain and the Church received the Sacred Heart private revelations.
The Sacred Heart of Jesus and the Immaculate Heart of Mary are united.
During Fatima the children were given a prayer in reparation to the Holy Trinity and of sacrilegious communions.
Act of Reparation to The Holy Trinity
O Most Holy Trinity, Father, Son and Holy Spirit, I adore Thee profoundly. I offer Thee the most precious Body, Blood, Soul and Divinity of Jesus Christ present in all the tabernacles of the world, in reparation for the outrages, sacrileges and indifferences by which He is offended. By the infinite merits of the Sacred Heart of Jesus and the Immaculate Heart of Mary I beg the conversion of poor sinners.
85 % of Catholics use contraceptives, 15 - 20% attend regular Mass.
Probably a very low amount go to confession and receive sacrilegious communions.
Since amoris laetitia some pastors have given a free pass on anything so long as a person’s conscious was clear.
A persons conscious is only good if it rest on God’s laws and the Church’s doctrine.
If not a person could feel okay about all manner of immoral practices.
The amount of sacrilegious communions was bad but now it’s even worse.
Instead of being told to get their marriage blessed in the Church, seek an annulment then have their current marriage blessed in the church, stop using contraceptives, living in polygamous or homosexual relationships, having affairs etc in order to be brought back into communion with the Church people are told let their conscience be their guide.
So whole diocese and parishes might have poorly instructed parishioners continuing in grave sin receiving the Eucharist in a state of mortal sin.
Something like that is bound to call down God’s wrath.
