Euthanasia Case - Hypothetical Question

Hypothetical Question

I do not want to turn the Schaivo Case into a Racist Case but How Do You Think This Case Would Have Been Different if…

-Michael Schaivo (a White Male) had an inter-racail marriage with a Black Woman named Terri Schaivo.

-Terri Schaivo’s (a Black Woman) Parents the Schindlers were both Black.

-Terri Schaivo’s brother & sister were both Black.

-All other things in the case remained Constant (White Judge, Michael Schaivo dating a White Woman & ect.)

Q&A?

We know Jesse Jackson stood up for the Schindler’s. If the Hypothetical were true, would other Black Leaders (Sharpton, etc) have stepped up to the plate to defend a Black Terri Schaivo from being Euthanized by having Food & Water taken away from her for 3 weeks??

Would those on the left supporting Michael Schaivo now switch their support to Terri Schaivo? Would those on the left be forced to switch their allegences to Terri Schaivo?

Would the Court Cases have turned out different?

Would Jeb Bush have put a stop to the Euthanizing?

Would the Mainstream Media then have still acted in a Bias Manner against Terri Schaivo?

I dislike bringing up this Hypothetical, but to me many things would have turned out different if Terri Schaivo were Black & Michael Schaivo were White. What do you think??

What are you doing?!?!?!?!? Don’t you know we are never, ever to speak of such things in polite society? The mobilisation of the black victim culture and its effectiveness at manipulating “white guilt?” The divergence of what real black people think and feel as opposed to what white leftists wished they thought and felt? These comprise part of the unspoken understanding, the paradoxical milieu in which we live… and you actually want to start a conversation about it?

Hush up quick, if you know what’s good for you!

I think - no, not at all. Judge Greer in Florida is a conservative Republican Baptist, and always has been. His ruling was consistent with the law. The appeals judges were also mostly conservative Republicans. Their rulings were also consistent with the law.

The Schiavo advocates didn’t want rulings on the law, they wanted to have findings of fact reviewed. But, the judges refused to reopen the case. Their perogative.

IMO, those conservative judges would have ruled the same regardless of the race of the litigants.

Why the cross posting? Here an in the Moral Theology topic?

As I said there, I thought I heard that Jesse Jackson was on the side of keeping Terri alive.
