Family in Distress

#1

I am asking for prayers as it seems that my family is on the verge of falling apart. My mother and father have been married for 32 years and all of us children are now adults living on our own. My mother and father have had issues in the past, but have always found a way to work things out. The relationship between us children and mom has not been the best. My sister refuses to speak to my mother and my brother and I are having difficulty getting along with her, but it’s not as bad as between her and my sister. My mother has decided to move out of the home and diaassociate herself from the rest of the family because she believes everyone hates her. My father has not directly said it, but I believe that he is tired of the drama and really doesn’t care what she does. To top things off my father’s job is hanging in the balance right now as there as some situations at work. Please pray for my family during this time of difficulty. Pray that we resolve our differences and are amicable towards each other.

Hail Mary,
full of grace,
the Lord is with thee.
Blessed art thou among women,
and blessed is the Fruit Of Thy Womb,
Jesus.
Holy Mary,
Mother of God,
pray for us sinners now,
and at the hour of our death.
Amen

Lord, help this family to forgive their mother and help their mother to forgive them. May this family reach out to their mother and help patch up their relationship with her. Help this woman’s husband to be faithful to his marriage promises and pursue his wife to help her be well with him again and be reconciled with the rest of the family too. It breaks my heart that this family is suffering so. Please send Your Spirit into their lives and move them all to begin working for a positive change in their family life through communication and prayer. Their mother gave them life and took care of them when they were so in need as children. May they suffer a little for her now, and be merciful to her. For all of her mercy - and if she wasn’t merciful ever - for the love of God. Amen.

Amen, Ready.

For this family

Our Father who art in heaven, hallowed be Thy name
Thy kingdom come.
Thy will be done on earth as it is in heaven.
Give us this day our daily bread.
Forgive us our trespasses as we forgive those who trespass against us,
And lead us not into temptation but deliver us from evil. Amen

Glory be to the Father, and to the Son, and to the Holy Spirit
as it was in the begining, is now and ever shall be, world without end. Amen

Hail Mary, full of grace, the Lord is with thee.
Blessed art thou among women,
and blessed is the fruit of thy womb, Jesus.
Holy Mary, Mother of God, pray for us sinners now,
and at the hour of our death. Amen

Novena Prayer to
St. Anthony of Padua

O Holy St. Anthony, gentlest of Saints,
your love for God and Charity for his creatures,
made you worthy, when on earth, to possess
miraculous powers. Miracles waited on your
word, which you were ever ready to speak
for those in trouble or anxiety. Encouraged by this,
I implore for you to obtain for me
[medical and financial assistance; cures for all ills]
The answer to my prayers may require a miracle.
Ever so, you are the Saint of Miracles. O gentle
and loving St. Anthony, whose heart was ever full
of human sympathy, whisper my petition into
the ears of thy Sweet Infant Jesus, who loved
to be folded in your arms, and the gratitude
of my heart will be ever yours,
Amen

Lead us not into temptation, but deliver us from evil. Amen

Glory be to the Father, and to the Son, and to the Holy Spirit,
as it was in the beginning, is now, and ever shall be, world without end. Amen

Hail Mary, full of grace, the Lord is with thee.
Blessed art thou among women
and blessed is the fruit of thy womb, Jesus.
Holy Mary, Mother of God, pray for us sinners now
and at the hour of our death. Amen
