Far from God

I’ve been very distant from God. My prayer life is not very good (a few ejaculations and a Rosary is pretty much all I do on a daily basis), my daily life is often not very Christian, and I have very deep feelings of doubt about the Catholic faith. I don’t dispute any Church teaching or historical truth or philosophical truth on an intellectual level, just the persistent thought of what if it’s all a load of nonsense throughout my head, in a kind of OCD way.

Hail Mary,
full of grace,
the Lord is with thee.
Blessed art thou among women,
and blessed is the fruit of thy womb,
Jesus.
Holy Mary,
Mother of God,
pray for us sinners now,
and at the hour of our death.
Amen.

Saint Jude helper of the hopeless please hear my prayers
Saint Jude faithful companion please pray for me
for my faith and my prayer life
Amen

Our Father who art in heaven, hallowed be thy name. Thy kingdom come, thy will be
done, on earth as it is in heaven Give us this day our daily bread and forgive us our
trespasses as we forgive those who trespass against us, and lead us not into temptation
but deliver us from evil. Amen

Glory Be to the Father, and to the Son, and to the Holy Spirit.
As it was in the beginning is now ever shall be world without end

Maybe you should switch religions… my suggestion is to start reading the bible, it will speak to you.

Praying for you and your intentions :byzsoc:

I will remember you in my prayers today.

Memorare (Prayer to Our Lady)
Remember, O most gracious Virgin Mary, that never was it known that anyone who fled to your protection, implored your help, or sought your intercession, was left unaided.
Inspired by this confidence, I fly unto you, O Virgin of virgins, my Mother. To you do I come, before you I stand, sinful and sorrowful. O Mother of the Word Incarnate, despise not my petitions, but in your mercy, hear and answer me. Amen

St. Michael the archangel,
Defend us in battle,
Be our protection against the wickedness and snares of the devil,
May God rebuke him we humbly pray,
And do thou or prince of the heavenly host,
By the power of God
Cast into hell Satan and all evil spirits who prowl about the world seeking the ruin of souls.
Amen
