FLDS cites ‘Hobby Lobby’ case to fight subpoena on child labor

Total non-sequitor. Hobby Lobby rightly noted that the owner of a business should not be compelled to violate his own conscience in order to provide for the convenience of others, especially when the government can ensure that said others enjoy that convenience in some other manner than coercing the business owner.

In that case, the issue is not the convenience of the children in the school, but their fundamental right to be protected from labor exploitation. I’m aware that some shills will argue that depriving a person of a contraceptive they could otherwise buy at Walgreens for the price of a latte is a similar horror to child slavery, but that just illustrates the moral bankruptcy of the people we are up against.

Hi ReConverted,

Sorry for going off topic for a moment, but I’m trying to find your thread re: fracking/earthquakes … help? Thanks!
