For a father

He is at least 70 years old and his children haven’t talked to him since they were small children. His three kids are probably in their 40’s. He told me that children’s services wouldn’t let him see them when he divorced his wife. He said his ex got the children to turn against him. He was crying when he was telling me this. Strangely enough my neighbour told pretty well the exact same story he told me months before he told me himself. My neighbour knows both him and his ex. He paid child support all those years (back then if you didn’t pay, there was no avenue for your ex to get you to pay like there is now) and he couldn’t even see his kids. The kids weren’t allowed to see him because he had slapped 2 of them. Just a slap. Please pray his childrens heart softens and they go see their father. He pretty well lived in poverty until the child support was done. My heart breaks for this man.

***Hail Mary,
Full of Grace,
The Lord is with thee.
Blessed art thou among women,
and blessed is the fruit
of thy womb,
Jesus.
Holy Mary,
Mother of God,
pray for us sinners now,
and at the hour of our death
Amen.

:highprayer:

God You told us to forgive those who hurt us. And yet, these
children find this hard to do. Deliver them from the hate of
nursing a grudge. It brings only misery. Instead, help them
want to forgive. Then fill their hearts with generosity. Make
them bigger than they are. Help them to know the incredible
pleasure of reconciliation.
Amen

St. Michael the archangel, defend us in battle. Be our defense against
the wickedness and snares of the devil. May God rebuke him we
humbly pray, and do thou O Prince of the heavenly hosts, by the
Power of God, cast into hell satan and all the evil spirits who prowl
throughout the world, seeking the ruin of souls.
Amen

Sacred Heart of Jesus, have mercy on him.
Immaculate Heart of Mary, pray for him.
St. Joseph our protector, pray for him.
Amen

My dear patron Fathers, please pray for this father.

Our Father who art in Heaven, hallowed be thy name.

Thy kingdom come, thy will be done on Earth as it is in Heaven.

Give us this day our daily bread.

And forgive us our trespasses, as we forgive those who trespass against us.

And lead us not into temptation, but deliver us from evil.

Prayer for a Miracle

God of all creation, you who spoke a simple command and brought forth light from
the darkness, I ask you now to send forth your miracle-working power to heal gabanzo’s intentions. You cleansed the lepers, opened the eyes of the blind and by
speaking a simple command, you empowered the crippled to rise up and walk.
You sent forth your life-giving power to all those in need, including those you raised from
the dead. I ask you to send forth your healing power into gabanzo’s intentions’s body and give him the strength to fight his illness. I ask this through my Lord, Jesus Christ, your Son, who lives and reigns with you and the Holy Spirit, one God, for ever and ever. Amen

Praying for the reconciliation of this father and his children. Also praying for all necessary graces for them.

O Blood and Water, which gushed forth from the Heart of Jesus as a fountain of Mercy for us, I trust in You!

St. Joseph, please intercede and pray for this man. Please God, have mercy on him…

Our Father, who art in Heaven, hallowed be thy name.
Thy kingdom come, thy will be done, on Earth as it is in Heaven.
Give us this day our daily bread,
and forgive us our trespasses, as we forgive those who trespass against us.
And lead us not into temptation, but deliver us from evil.
Amen.

Hail Mary, full of grace, the Lord is with thee.

Amen.

Glory Be to the Father, and to the Son, and to the Holy Spirit.
As it was in the beginning, is now, and ever shall be, world without end.
Amen.
