for a friend

she left today to spend some time in a mental hospital. She struggles with self injury and an eating disorder. I don’t know how long she’ll be there, but I know she needs prayers. Also, her brother just left earlier this week to get help for a drug addiction. :frowning:

Father in Jesus’ name we commend the members of theis family to Your loving mercy, asking Your healing and new life for them.

Eternal God, in whom mercy is endless,
and the treasury of compassion inexhaustible,
look kindly upon us, and increase Your mercy in us,
that in difficult moments we might not despair, nor become despondent,
but with great confidence submit ourselves to Your holy will, which is love and mercy itself

Our Father, Who art in heaven, hallowed be Thy Name.
Thy Kingdom come.
Thy Will be done, on earth as it is in Heaven.
Give us this day our daily bread.
And forgive us our trespasses, as we forgive those who trespass against us.
And lead us not into temptation, but deliver us from evil. Amen.

Hail Mary, full of grace, the Lord is with thee.
Blessed art thou among women,
and blessed is the fruit of thy womb, Jesus.
Holy Mary, Mother of God, pray for us sinners now,
and at the hour of our death. Amen.

Hail Mary,

Praying very hard for her and her brother!

I will include them in my intentions for my Rosary today.

God bless.

Heavenly Father, please help this person in need; may they look up and find hope in You.

Our Father, Who art in Heaven, hallowed be Thy Name.
Thy Kingdom come. Thy Will be done, on earth, as it is in Heaven.
Give us this day our daily bread
and forgive us our trespasses as we forgive those who trespass against us;
and lead us not into temptation, but deliver us from evil. Amen.

I assure you may prayers for her. She will be remembered in all my daily prayers: my rosaries, Masses and adorations. I will also pray for her brother’s recovery from his addiction.
