For Afghan women

#1

The government has passed new laws that degrade and harm women. Pray for a reversal of these laws and protection for all the oppressed
you can read about the new laws on msn.com, I did not think it would be okay to go into detail here on a family forum

Hail Mary, full of grace, the Lord is with thee.
Blessed art thou among women,
and blessed is the fruit of thy womb, Jesus.
Holy Mary, Mother of God, pray for us sinners,
now, and at the hour of our death. Amen.

Praying for all women to receive the respect that they rightly deserve. They are not chattel, but human beings who have the God given right to be all they can be in fulfilling their potential.

#4

How sad for women who want basic rights and dignity. God please with these women and help them into their struggle.

Understood…Praying for all abused and degraded people in our world…

#9

Father please defend women throughout the world and in Afganistan.
Please stop the religion from spreading that espouses the degradation and despoilation of the beings whom You created to be mothers of Your children in this world and sharers in creation. Please let Your truth and lover overtake and smother all abuse and all evil in this world.

"No eye has seen, nor ear heard, nor the heart of man conceived, what God has prepared for those who love Him,
God has revealed to us through the Spirit.
For the Spirit searches everything, even the depths of God…
Now we have received not the spirit of the world, but the Spirit which is from God,
that we might understand the gifts bestowed on us by God.
And we impart this in words not taught by human wisdom but taught by the Spirit…"
~Pope John Paul II
