For all those considering converting to another religion

#1

That they think about the choices they have, and they have a clear head about doing so. That they do not do this to “please” someone unless it is for positive reasons. That they may have a safe, and unhindered, journey.
And that they do convert to the religion of their choice not someone else’s.

Our Father, Who art in Heaven, hallowed be Thy Name.
Thy Kingdom come.
Thy Will be done, on earth, as it is in Heaven.
Give us this day our daily bread,
And forgive us our trespasses,
As we forgive those who trespass against us.
And lead us not into temptation, but deliver us from evil.
Amen.

Hail Mary, full of grace, the Lord is with thee.
Blessed art thou among women,
and blessed is the fruit of thy womb, Jesus.
Holy Mary, Mother of God, pray for us sinners, now,
and at the hour of our death.
Amen.

I believe in God, the Father Almighty,
Creator of heaven and earth; and in Jesus
Christ, His only Son, our Lord: Who was
conceived by the Holy Spirit, born of the
Virgin Mary; suffered under Pontius
Pilate, was crucified, died and was buried.
He descended into hell; the third day He
rose again from the dead; He ascended
into heaven, is seated at the right hand of
God the Father Almighty; from thence He
shall come to judge the living and the
dead. I believe in the Holy Spirit, the
Holy Catholic Church, the communion of
Saints, the forgiveness of sins, the
resurrection of the body, and life
everlasting. Amen.

Lord, bring more souls into Your Church. May all people in the world see the Catholic Church as instituted by Christ and find a mother in her that loves them and wants them to become saints in imitation of her Son, Jesus, our Lord and Savior. Amen.

My prayer is that they receive the graces to choose the Church begun by Jesus Christ, the Church with the fullness of the truth, however God draws them to it, not that they remain outside with incomplete knowledge of the truth. If God leads them to this Church by their changing their religion partly due to another person is fine, as God has the chance then to continue His work in converting them progressively within His Church in His own time. To pray that they won’t convert because their reasons are not yet perfect, may deny them the fullness of truth and the benefit of the Sacraments for their lifetime. Whatever door they enter into the Church by, if only at first to please their partner, God can gradually purify their intentions and deepen their commitment.
In God’s grace we trust.
