For cellists-patron saint?

I’m looking for any saint/blessed/venerable who might have played the cello. New acquaintance plays the cello and was intrigued when I shared that my violin-playing kids always ask for the intercession of Venerable Solanus Casey and St. Francis Solano on the way to their lessons and gigs. New friend is fallen-away, and I’m hoping to hook them up with a Heavenly musician. Anyone?

I don’t know about any patron saints who played the cello, but St. Cecilia is the patron saint of musicians.

Here’s another link to patron saints of musicians

And one for all patronages, alphabetically

There’s also the Prophet David.

He’s on 29 December in the Roman Martyrology.

Here’s his entry there:

<<At Jerusalem, holy David, king and prophet.>>
