For my coworker's same-sex partner

One of my coworkers is a homosexual who has been a relationship with a man for the last eighteen years. A couple of days ago, his partner passed away. I would like to request prayers for this person, that God may have the same mercy on him that I would request for myself. Despite living what is objectively a gravely-sinful lifestyle, all people deserve our prayers, so please pray for him.

May he rest in peace and God comfort his loved ones.

I pray for the repose of the soul of your coworker’s partner. God is ever merciful, understanding, and forgiving. I hope your coworker is surrounded by supportive family and friends as he grieves this loss.

Mary.

Is that not where I posted this o.O? I thought I had, if you had to move it I apologize.

Saint Michael, the archangel, defend us in battle, be our defense against the wickedness and snares of the devil, may God rebuke him, we humbly pray. And do you, O’ Prince of the Heavenly host, by the power of God thrust into Hell Satan and all the other evil spirits who prowl about the world for the ruin of souls.

Amen.

Our Father who art in Heaven, hallowed be thy name.

Thy kingdom come, thy will be done on Earth as it is in Heaven.

Give us this day our daily bread.

And forgive us our trespasses, as we forgive those who trespass against us.

And lead us not into temptation, but deliver us from evil.

Amen.

Hail Mary, full of grace, the Lord is with thee.

Blessed are you among women, and blessed is the fruit of your womb Jesus.

Holy Mary, Mother of God, pray for us sinners, now and at the hour of our death.

Amen.

Praying.

[INDENT]**Prayer for the grieving **

Jesus, You wept at the death of Your friend, Lazarus. Console those who are now grieving the loss of a loved one. Let them be comforted in the remembrance of Your promises. Give to those who mourn, peace, in the midst of their tears. You are the Resurrection and the Life! We know and believe this! Let the despairing find Hope and the brokenhearted receive the consolation of Your Presence and Your love. Amen.

Prayers for Those Who Have Died

Eternal rest grant unto them, O Lord, and let perpetual light shine upon them. May the souls of the faithful departed, through the mercy of God, rest in peace. Amen.

Eternal Father, I offer Thee the Most Precious Blood
of Thy Divine Son, Jesus, in union with the masses
said throughout the world today, for all the holy souls
in purgatory, for sinners everywhere, for sinners in
the universal church, those in my own home and
within my family.
Amen

Heavenly Father, You know how deep his grief is. He longs
for the touch of a hand, the sound of a voice that is stilled.
You are merciful and kind. You will comfort his wounded
heart. Wipe the tears from his eyes. Thank You for
understanding so well our poor human hearts and for
letting us lean on You.
Amen
