For the Bishops

This is both in thanksgiving for the bishops who spoke up in defense of human life and in the Catholic faith, and that more will join.

Our Father, who art in Heaven, hallowed by Thy name. Thy kingdom come, Thy will be done, on earth as it is in heaven. Give us this day, our daily bread, and forgive us our trespasses, as we forgive those who trespass against us, and lead us not into temptation, but deliver us from evil. Amen.

Prayers promised for all clergy, bishops, priests and deacons.

Father, we make this prayer in the name of Jesus.

Holy Father, your Church Militant in on her knees marching in prayer. We ask that You strengthen our Bishops, Priests, and laity to defend those who cannot defend themselves. Our Father in Heaven, You uphold the weak, we look to You to use us in all ways possible.

Hail Mary, full of grace, the Lord is with thee. Blessed art thou amongst women, and blessed is the Fruit of thy womb Jesus. Holy Mary, Mother of God, pray for us sinners now and in the hour of our death.

Hail Mary,
Full of Grace,
The Lord is with thee.
Blessed art thou among women,
and blessed is the fruit
of thy womb, Jesus.
Holy Mary,
Mother of God,
pray for us sinners now,
and at the hour of our death.

Wherever there are two or moreā€¦

Lord, glorious is the Church that You have prepared for us! We ask humbly that You continue to pour out thy mercies for our Church as promised, and that You bless those who have been charged with the defense of and teaching Your Church.

Let those members of the clergy, whether bishop or priest, who falter be moved by the Holy Spirit to bring their hearts in communion with the rest of the Magesterium as You have willed. Gather us up for you, Lord, and allow us to be instruments of thy will on earth.

Bless those bishops, O Lord, who cling to You through the body of Your Church, and bless those who faithfully teach what was passed down by You, to the apostles, for our sake and salvation.

O Holy Spirit, send Yourself out upon them so that they might fully and with vigor teach the faith once and for all handed to the saints, for You are Truth and wisdom, and only through Your hand are we guided to the the Lord.

Glory be to the Father, and to the Son, and to the Holy Spirit. As it was in the beginning, is now, and ever shall be, world without end! Amen.

Your intentions will be in my prayers.***

Eternal God, in whom mercy is endless and the treasury of compassion inexhaustible, look kindly upon us, and increase Your mercy in us, so that in difficult moments we might not despair, nor become despondent, but with great confidence, submit ourselves to Your Holy Will, which is Love and Mercy itself. Amen
