For the countless, nameless victims of abortion

#1

Please pray for the mothers and fathers who don’t understand the gravity of their actions.

Please pray for a conversion of heart for the doctors, nurses, and politicians responsible for the killing.

Please pray for the babies, our youngest brothers and sisters. May God, in His infinite mercy, cradle them in His arms.

I feel bitter, cold and alone. I have difficulty believing in the promises of God today. My spirit is broken, and I am relying on the Holy Ghost to intercede on my behalf…Fighting for life is tiresome, and I can’t help but think that my words, deeds, hope and faith are all useless and in vain. Nothing is waking the world up. Instead this is happening.

What? What can we do? I feel like we’re failing the precious little ones. Please forgive me.

Yes. Let’s continue to pray. Hope and prayer is all that’s left, it seems.

and for the mothers and fathers that DO understand, and choose death anyway.

Amen!

Yes, and let’s remember that Christ laid out the blueprint for us. When He “did not spurn the virgins womb” and “became man to set us free”, He took on our sufferings - this includes the anguish of feeling alone and isolated. Who ever felt more alone and isolated? But how blessed we are to have knowledge of the victory in Christ. How blessed we are to have not only this blueprint, but life-scale (if you will) models in the lives of so many of the saints.
Prayerfully join your broken spirit and your feelings of despair with His and ask for the Grace to persevere.

Psalms
Chapter 22

My God, my God, why have you abandoned me? Why so far from my call for help, from my cries of anguish? My God, I call by day, but you do not answer; by night, but I have no relief.
Yet you are enthroned as the Holy One; you are the glory of Israel. In you our ancestors trusted; they trusted and you rescued them. To you they cried out and they escaped; in you they trusted and were not disappointed. But I am a worm, hardly human, scorned by everyone, despised by the people. All who see me mock me; they curl their lips and jeer; they shake their heads at me: “You relied on the LORD–let him deliver you; if he loves you, let him rescue you.” Yet you drew me forth from the womb, made me safe at my mother’s breast. Upon you I was thrust from the womb; since birth you are my God. Do not stay far from me, for trouble is near, and there is no one to help. Many bulls surround me; fierce bulls of Bashan encircle me. They open their mouths against me, lions that rend and roar. Like water my life drains away; all my bones grow soft. My heart has become like wax, it melts away within me. As dry as a potsherd is my throat; my tongue sticks to my palate; you lay me in the dust of death. Many dogs surround me; a pack of evildoers closes in on me. So wasted are my hands and feet that I can count all my bones. They stare at me and gloat; they divide my garments among them; for my clothing they cast lots. But you, LORD, do not stay far off; my strength, come quickly to help me. Deliver me from the sword, my forlorn life from the teeth of the dog. Save me from the lion’s mouth, my poor life from the horns of wild bulls. Then I will proclaim your name to the assembly; in the community I will praise you: “You who fear the LORD, give praise! All descendants of Jacob, give honor; show reverence, all descendants of Israel! For God has not spurned or disdained the misery of this poor wretch, Did not turn away from me, but heard me when I cried out. I will offer praise in the great assembly; my vows I will fulfill before those who fear him. The poor will eat their fill; those who seek the LORD will offer praise. May your hearts enjoy life forever!” All the ends of the earth will worship and turn to the LORD; All the families of nations will bow low before you. For kingship belongs to the LORD, the ruler over the nations. All who sleep in the earth will bow low before God; All who have gone down into the dust will kneel in homage. And I will live for the LORD; my descendants will serve you. The generation to come will be told of the Lord, that they may proclaim to a people yet unborn the deliverance you have brought.

Prayers for all who choose to have an abortion whatever the circumstances, for all the victims and providers, and for anyone who feels hopeless about the issue as well :signofcross:

I pray about this cause daily anyways, but my efforts will be increased!

Jesus, Mary, Joseph, I love you very much. I beg you to spare the life of the unborn baby that I have spiritually adopted who is in danger of abortion.

Our Lady of Guadalupe, Intercessor of the Unborn, pray for us.
All Holy Innocents, pray for us.

Memorare (Prayer to Our Lady)
Remember, O most gracious Virgin Mary, that never was it known that anyone who fled to your protection, implored your help, or sought your intercession, was left unaided.
Inspired by this confidence, I fly unto you, O Virgin of virgins, my Mother. To you do I come, before you I stand, sinful and sorrowful. O Mother of the Word Incarnate, despise not my petitions, but in your mercy, hear and answer me. Amen

Lord, please convert the hearts of those who are considering abortions and who provide for abortions. Let them know how seriously wrong it is to kill an innocent baby in the womb. Let them know that all life is sacred and precious, and that is not theirs to take. Thank you, Lord, for hearing my prayer.

Our father who art in heaven, hallowed be Thy name, Thy kindgom come, Thy will be done on earth as it is in heaven. Give us this day our daily bread and forgive us our trespasses as we forgive those who trespass against us. And lead us not into temptation but deliever us from evil. Amen.

Hail Mary, full of grace, the Lord is with thee. Blessed art thou amongst women and blessed is the fruit of thy womb Jesus. Holy Mary, Mother of God pray for us sinners now and at the hour of our death. Amen.

Glory be to the Father, and to the Son, and to the Holy Spirit, as it was in the beginning, is now and ever shall be world without end. Amen.

  • Pater noster, qui es in cælis, sanctificétur nomen tuum. Advéniat regnum tuum. Fiat volúntas tua, sicut in cælo, et in terra. Panem nostrum cotidiánum da nobis hódie, et dimítte nobis débita nostra sicut et nos dimíttimus debitóribus nostris. Et ne nos indúcas in tentatiónem, sed líbera nos a malo. Amen.

Ave María, grátia plena, Dóminus tecum. Benedícta tu in muliéribus, et benedíctus fructus ventris tui, Iesus. Sancta María, Mater Dei, ora pro nobis peccatóribus, nunc, et in hora mortis nostræ. Amen.

Glória Patri, et Fílio, et Spirítui Sancto. Sicut erat in princípio, et nunc, et semper, et in sæcula sæculórum. Amen*
