For the hundreds of people who came for ashes, but will not return until Palm Sunday

#1

Dear Lord, we humbly beg you to open the hearts and minds and reach the souls of those who feel it is necessary to receive ashes on ASh Wednesday but do not understand the more importance of receiving the Eucharist weekly by attending regular mass. Help them to recognize that even though they bore the mark of your cross on the foreheads yesterday, the outward sign must also become an inward change and repentance to truly become your disciple. We ask all these prayers through the intercession of our Blessed Lady and the Holy Spirit. Amen.

Praying…

#5

Our Father, Who art in heaven, hallowed be Thy Name.
Thy Kingdom come. Thy Will be done, on earth as it is in heaven.
Give us this day our daily bread.
And forgive us our trespasses, as we forgive those who trespass against us.
Lead us not into temptation, but deliver us from evil. Amen

Hail Mary,
Full of Grace,
The Lord is with thee.
Blessed art thou among women,
and blessed is the Fruit of Thy Womb,
Jesus.
Holy Mary,
Mother of God,
pray for us sinners now,
and at the hour of our death.
Amen

Praying for the conversion of hearts…

#8

For all those who received a sacramental as a sign of penance, soften their hearts, O Lord. Let your mercy shine upon them as throughout Lent they may come to be moved to know you, love you, and serve you.
