Hail Mary,
full of grace,
the Lord is with thee.
Blessed art thou among women,
and blessed is the Fruit Of Thy Womb,
Jesus.
Holy Mary,
Mother of God,
pray for us sinners now,
and at the hour of our death
Amen

Our Father who art in heaven, hallowed be Thy name
Thy kingdom come.
Thy will be done on earth as it is in heaven
Give us this day our daily bread.
Forgive us our trespasses as we forgive those who trespass against us,
And lead us not into temptation but deliver us from evil. Amen

Glory be to the Father, and to the Son, and to the Holy Spirit
As it was in the begining, is now and ever shall be, world without end. Amen

Dear Lord. May those who stay away for whatever reason, come back to the sacrament and receive absolution for their sins.

I am praying for your intentions.

Lord, I pray for this person’s friend and for all those fearful of confession. May they find a good priest who is loving and gentle and know in their hearts that they have nothing to fear in the confessional. Lord, send your Spirit in their hearts and draw them to Your Son, Jesus, who is waiting ever so patiently to absolve them and to set them free of their fears and of their sins. Amen.

Novena Prayer to
St. Anthony of Padua

O Holy St. Anthony, gentlest of Saints,
your love for God and Charity for his creatures,
made you worthy, when on earth, to possess
miraculous powers. Miracles waited on your
word, which you were ever ready to speak
for those in trouble or anxiety. Encouraged by this,
I implore for you to obtain for me
[cures for all ills]
The answer to my prayers may require a miracle.
Ever so, you are the Saint of Miracles. O gentle
and loving St. Anthony, whose heart was ever full
of human sympathy, whisper my petition into
the ears of thy Sweet Infant Jesus, who loved
to be folded in your arms, and the gratitude
of my heart will be ever yours,
Amen

After 40 years, I left an invalid marriage and began to go back to Church. For a year I agonized about going to Confession and facing the priest with so many mortal sins. I had led a very sinful life before and during the marriage. For those in a situation like this, please believe that if you pray for courage to do it, God will give you the grace.

The priest was compassionate, and helped me through it. I cried a bucket, but when he said “Go in peace, your sins are forgiven” I can’t explain the relief that came upon me.
Don’t wait! God will welcome you back. Thankyou Fr Vincent Serpa for your advice!

PATER NOSTER, qui es in caelis, sanctificetur nomen tuum. Adveniat regnum tuum. Fiat voluntas tua, sicut in caelo et in terra. Panem nostrum quotidianum da nobis hodie, et dimitte nobis debita nostra sicut et nos dimittimus debitoribus nostris. Et ne nos inducas in tentationem, sed libera nos a malo. Amen.

Saint Michael the Archangel,
defend us in battle.
Be our protection against the wickedness and snares of the devil.
May God rebuke him, we humbly pray;
and do Thou, O Prince of the Heavenly Host -
by the Divine Power of God -
cast into hell, satan and all the evil spirits,
who roam throughout the world seeking the ruin of souls. Amen.

Father of infinite compassion and mercy, we recognize the truth of Your persistent love and acceptance. We recognize our frailties and limits in finding the inner harmony and personal integrity for which our human hearts so ardently yearn. By the power of Your Spirit, help us to turn to Your Son, Jesus, present in the community of faith, for the reconciling power He alone can give. Heal the wounds and hurts which divide us. Renew our minds and hearts as people bound to you in covenant. Let us experience a genuine inner conversion from the paralysis of sin, so that with all Your saints we may live in the freedom of Your children, acknowledging the dominion of Jesus’ power in our lives. May we find in the sacrament of reconciliation an experience of worship in spirit and in truth, so that we may ever proclaim our Eucharistic praise of Your healing acceptance and transforming love. Amen.
