Fox News Christmas Special

:)Aired Christmas Day. Not bad for a secular news channel. Question: Is John Dominic Crossan pretty much "out there" in Catholic theological terms? I notice he gets alot or air time on HISTORY channel as scriptural expert, never any denomination affiliation. Had to go to Wikipedia to see his biography and see where he is coming from.

John Dominic Crossan is not a Catholic, certainly not in terms of theology, anyway. At best, he can only be considered to be a sort of mutant neo-Arian; the Arians believed that Jesus was born human, not divine---and that He was later imbued with divinity by God. Crossan believes that Jesus was born human, not divine---and that He was later attributed with divinity by His followers.
