Galnextdoor--Please tell us what heresies are involved in olrl, Our Lady of the Rosary Library. I was unaware until now that they have a website, but I know this family from church events and I am shocked to hear that.
On the home page it states that there is no salvation outside the Catholic Church period. The Catholic Church has always taught that "other sheep not of this fold" may be given the grace and understanding for salvation even if they have never come in contact with the teachings of Jesus Christ. Pope Paul VI stated this in "Credo of the People of God" on January 30, 1968. It was not a new concept, just a reminder of what the Church teaches.
In OLRL's dogmas and doctrines page, it has a paper by a Bishop Hays? I have never heard of him before, but he claims that the laws of God forbid all communication with those of a false religion. Obviously, this is patently untrue. I can't remember the name of this heresy, but everyone knows that Pope John Paul II encouraged evangelization of non-Catholics. How could the Church have spread all over the world if the apostles didn't communicate with people of false religions?
In another paper it bashes Catholic Charismatics of the Renewal. I am not part of that movement, but the movement has received endorsement from Pope Paul VI, Pope John Paul II, and our current Pope.
If you would like me to point out more, p.m. me and I will continue.:o
