my last job in industry (as opposed to the non-profit sector) was as a contractor in this plant when it was new, the first fully robotic, j.i.t., BOC plant. If any body wants to right a textbook on how to destroy new initiatives intended to save jobs, reduce costs, and make a company healthier they could not do better than studying the history of this plant, its relationship with the unions and the and engineers and mid-mgmt.

Poletown...who would've thought in Hamtramck of all places:p

I'm all for GM-

It's good news to be sure.
