God answered my "impossible" prayer!

#1

My sister has been estranged from my mom and stepdad for several years. She has made many decisions that they (and I) don’t agree with. I have been praying that they would reconcile for years. Last Friday, it got really bad because I was in the middle of a situation. My kids go to Catholic school so I went about 15 minutes before they got out and prayed in the chapel. Yesterday, we were having a family BBQ. My mom called and said that my stepdad had said to her that he thought my sister should be invited. My mom asked if he was joking and he said no, that he thought it was time they reconciled and gave her another chance! My mom didn’t have my sister’s phone number so she called me and asked if I would call her. My sister couldn’t believe it. She and her husband brought their kids and it was a great party! Everyone had a great time and I think it was the best family party we have had in years. They brought their two kids and my bro-in-law’s son too. All the kids had a great time playing together. I thanked God all day yesterday for answering my prayers. I honestly didn’t think that this would ever happen but I still prayed. I just had to share this wonderful story with everyone. Never give up hope.

With God, all things are possible,
Maggie

That’s so wonderful Maggie, thank you for sharing that with us. God is so good. As Fr. Benedict Grochele says, "Never give up!"
You didn’t, that’s great. God love you and keep you all together.
