God's plan, Pilate's and Judas' free will

[quote=KingHeathen]when God made the prophesy (as Christians believe) that someone would crucify Jesus…did those people have the free will to NOT crucify Jesus? His PLAN was for it to happen…what would have happened if man refused? What if Noah refused to build the ark? What if the anti-christ refuses to go to war? What if Judas had refused the 30 pieces of silver? “God’s plan” is the part you keep leaving out.

My response before his:

What’s beautiful about free will is that we can choose to not believe it exists when because of it we were able to make that decision.

actions have consequences. good works bring good cons. bad works bring bad cons. bad cons can come from good cons if we choose it to be that way, good cons can come from bad cons if we choose it to be that way. its looking at the bright side of an evil thing. with the gift of life which brings freewill, we are able to make that decision and let ourselves grow to be more perfect. God’s will is for us to find that light, and he KNOWS life will be good if we do it. iono if it makes sense. thanks.

cons = consequence

no response? im still somewhat confused about freewill and God’s plan.

The king’s heart is in the hand of the LORD, as the rivers of water: he turneth it whithersoever he will. (Proverbs 21:1 KJV)

God can cause anything to take place…not force - cause. There is no such thing as a neutral free will.
