Grad Sues College for $70,000 Because She Can't Find a Job

Here’s an interesting counterpoint that talks about how this for-profit “college” (which the column’s author says charges $5,872 a semester, compared to $2,300 in-state for CUNY) is really a trade school dressed up to look like a real college. The article argues that the plaintiff is trying to hold the “college” accountable for what amounts to educational fraud.

Sue This School: Should a college pay when a grad can’t find a job? This one should.

I’m not saying she should win her lawsuit. But this article is making me rethink my original eye-rolling at it.
