Grandfather in hospital

Please pray for my grandfather (John) who is currently in the hospital. On Friday he had surgery to remove a tumor from above his bladder, but since the surgery he has been suffering from bleeding problems and so the hospital won’t release him until he is better. He is in a great deal of pain (though he is trying to down play this so no one will worry) and is frightened because within the last year he had an elaborate kidney operation in order to save as much of the one remaining kidney he has as possible so that he would not have to go on dialysis. However the complications arising from this operation could damage his kidney if they continue. :frowning:

I thank everyone in advance for their charitable prayers. Your kindness is greatly appreciated.

Lord, hear our prayers

Amen

Glory be to The Father, The Son and The Holy Spirit
As it was in the beginning, is now and ever shall be
World without end

Amen

**Our Father, Who art in heaven,
Hallowed be Thy Name.
Thy Kingdom come.
Thy Will be done, on earth as it is in Heaven. Give us this day our daily bread.
And forgive us our trespasses,
as we forgive those who trespass against us.
And lead us not into temptation,
but deliver us from evil. Amen.

Hail Mary,
Full of Grace,
The Lord is with thee.
Blessed art thou among women,
and blessed is the fruit
of thy womb, Jesus.
Holy Mary,
Mother of God,
pray for us sinners now,
and at the hour of death.
Amen.

Glory be to the Father,
and to the Son,
and to the Holy Spirit.
As it was in the beginning,
is now,
and ever shall be,
world without end.
Amen.**

Remember, O most gracious Virgin Mary, that never was it known that anyone who fled to your protection, implored your help, or sought your intercession, was left unaided.
Inspired by this confidence, I fly unto you, O Virgin of virgins, my Mother. To you do I come, before you I stand, sinful and sorrowful. O Mother of the Word Incarnate, despise not my petitions, but in your mercy, hear and answer me. Amen

Glory to God,
Source of all being,
Eternal Word and Holy Spirit,
As it was in the beginning,
Is now and shall be forever.
Amen

Thank you all for your prayers. My grandfather’s condition has improved and if he continues to improve the doctors are willing to consider releasing him from the hospital tomorrow.

Lord, hear our prayers

Praying for your Grandfather to have a full recovery and early release.

Praying for your grandfather …

Praying for your intentions….

Lord Jesus, You have said,
“Learn from me, for I am meek and humble of heart.”
With confidence in Your loving heart
which offers rest to weary souls,
we come to You in this time of special need.
In Your unfailing love,
read the prayer that is written on our hearts,
and grant the grace that we ask of You,
in accordance with Your holy will.
In Your name we pray.
Amen.

O my Jesus, forgive us our sins, save us form the fires of hell, lead all souls to heaven, especially those in most need of your mercy. Amen.

I just wanted to let you know that my grandfather has been released from the hospital. He will need at least a few weeks to fully recover at home according to his doctors, but the fact that he was released so quickly is wonderful. Thank you all for your prayers. I am sure that they were instrumental in his quicker than expected recovery.
