How do you know that the photo of the aborted child is actually what you think it is?
Sometimes babies die at a very young age in the womb and need to be removed, sometimes a stillbirth is not an option for the mother. Are you 100% sure that the image you are using would be of a baby that is being aborted?
I don’t think that showing the image is a means to an end.
Again, dialogue and assistance is more important that shock imagery. If you care about aborted babies, talk to those who live in low socio-economic areas and help them raise children by creating free baby boxes, easy access to free or low fee childcare and much more.
Picketing is inherently selfish IMHO, it is more a statement about picketer. It benefits picketer because they feel like they’re helping. Many women who attend those clinics would say picketers don’t help, and that they alienate them even further.
How about creating a picket that says free baby boxes for all mothers here or we will help you with your newborn or we will say yes to life with you.
But no, choose the graphic imagery.
No wonder people don’t feel heard, or loved by the Church. Picketing is not the compassionate approach.
