Gravely Ill Relative with Young Kids

#1

Please pray for my relative Brian, who is in the hospital with a grave illness. His condition is one that could end in death, permanent disability—or complete recovery. He is a father with young children. He has received Anointing of the Sick, which both comforts and terrifies me.

Cross posted (with slightly more information) on my website’s prayer request forum.

Hail Mary,
full of grace,
the Lord is with thee.
Blessed art thou among women,
and blessed is the fruit of thy womb,
Jesus.
Holy Mary,
Mother of God,
pray for us sinners now,
and at the hour of our death.
Amen.

R, I can’t help feeling very much for you all, especially for your sister and the children.

Father, look upon the anxiety and distress of this family as they wait in a mixture of hope and dread. I hardly know what to say to You. In the name of Jesus, Your own beloved Son, Father please grant healing, and provide all that is needed, within Brian, and in his medical treatment.
Please grant to Brian’s wife and children all that is needed for their strength, blessing, and protection.
Please surround them and all the family with Your merciful love.

Lord, please heal this man. Amen.

To all who have stormed heaven,

Brian’s condition has improved dramatically, and he went home today. The doctors determined he has the least serious form of his illness and will make a full recovery! In addition—thanks no doubt to your prayers—their family just received some additional, unrelated blessings they were hoping for.

Thank you all for your prayers!

Wonderful! Praise God.

Glory be to the Father and to the Son and to the Holy Spirit.
As it was in the beginning, is now and ever shall be,
world without end.

Amen

Our Father who art in Heaven, hallowed be Thy Name.
Thy Kingdom come,
Thy will be done, on earth, as it is in Heaven.
Give us this day our daily bread.
Forgive us our trespasses as we forgive those who trespass against us.
Lead us not into temptation, but deliver us from evil. Amen

I forgot to publicly thank the most important ones:

Thanks to you, Father God, for your loving care of Brian and all our family. Thanks to you, Lord Jesus Christ, for healing Brian, as you were moved to heal the sick during your time on earth. Thanks to you, Holy Spirit, for your gifts of fortitude and understanding in our time of need. I offer thanks and praise to you, one God, who lives and reigns in unity forever and ever. Amen.

Thank you, Blessed Mother, for your compassionate care and intercession with your Son, Jesus Christ. Pray for us. Amen.

Thank you, all you angels and saints of God, whose friendship and prayers strengthen us on earth. Amen.

Eternal Father
I Offer You the Body and Blood,
Soul and Divinity
Of Your dearly beloved Son,
Our Lord, Jesus Christ
In atonement for our sins
And those of the whole world

For the sake of His Sorrowful Passion
Have Mercy on us,
And of the whole world
