Bruce Sullivan - Church of Christ to Catholic

I loved this paragraph, “cradles” please read:

“Some day, not here, but maybe someplace else, you may find yourself in a nightmare of a parish. The priest may be the most profane man you’ve ever met. There may be scandals right and left in the parish. The people may not give a rip about you. The building could look like a disaster area. And right across the street might be the most wonderful Protestant church on the planet. The minister may be the most godly man in town. The people may show a genuine love for you. They may have programs for the kids. You might be tempted in your frustration to cash in your chips and go across the street to that Protestant church. Don’t do it. Because, despite that Protestant minister’s genuine piety, he cannot do for you what even the most corrupt and profane priest on the planet can do for you. He can’t absolve you from your sins, and he cannot give you the Body and Blood of our Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ, under the appearance of bread and wine in the Blessed Sacrament.”
