Help me to lean on God through my trials

#1

I don’t like bothering people with my trials, but I’ve learnt recently that I can no longer work due to serious health problems, which is getting worst. The social security benefits won’t be enough be pay off my debts, and it’s going to take weeks to process. Plus on top of that, I have other problems to deal with. I just like to ask if you can pray on my behalf, to give me the strength to lean on God at this difficult time.

I will certainly pray for you. Can you get assistance through Catholic Charities or through your diocese? It can’t hurt to ask.

Praying for you…

Hail Mary, full of grace. The Lord is with Thee. Blessed art Thou amongst women, and blessed is the fruit of Thy womb, Jesus. Holy Mary, Mother of God, pray for us sinners, now, and at the hour of our death. Amen.

"Lord, what You say is true. Your care for me is greater than all the care I can take of myself. For he who does not cast all his care upon You stands very unsafely. If only my will remain right and firm toward You, Lord, do with me whatever pleases You. For whatever You shall do with me can only be good.

If You wish me to be in darkness, I shall bless You. And if You wish me to be in light, again I shall bless You. If You stoop down to comfort me, I shall bless You, and if You wish me to be afflicted, I shall bless You forever."
(The Imitation of Christ. Book III, ch.17)

You are in my prayers.
