And this is the group that some people like to compare to Isis and Al-Qaeda dailystar.com.lb/News/Lebanon-News/2014/Sep-15/270680-hezbollah-fpm-form-christian-armed-group-in-jezzine.ashx#axzz3DKXdiQfL
Let’s see Hezbollah is actively supporting the Syrian regime.
The EU and the US has designated Hezbollah a terrorist organization.
And that was in the past. Since 1990, terror acts and attempts of which Hezbollah has been blamed include the following bombings and attacks against civilians and diplomats:
*]The 1992 Israeli Embassy attack in Buenos Aires, killing 29, in Argentina.
*]The 1994 AMIA bombing of a Jewish cultural centre, killing 85, in Argentina.
*]The 1994 AC Flight 901 attack, killing 21, in Panama.
*]The 1994 London Israeli Embassy attack, injuring 29, in the United Kingdom.
*]In 2002, Singapore accused Hezbollah of recruiting Singaporeans in a failed 1990s plot to attack U.S. and Israeli ships in the Singapore Straits.
*]The January 15, 2008, bombing of a U.S. Embassy vehicle in Beirut.
*]In 2009, a Hezbollah plot in Egypt was uncovered, where Egyptian authorities arrested 49 men for planning attacks against Israeli and Egyptian targets in the Sinai Peninsula.
*]The 2012 Burgas bus bombing, killing 6, in Bulgaria.[/LIST]
Hezbollah routinely fires rockets on schools in Israel.
Yea, it’s a terrorist organization run by Iran.
To many people in Lebanon including a surprising number of Christians, Hezbollah is a resistance movement that has defended the country.
Their actions speak louder than words.
They have done well defending themselves. Argentina and Singapore and Panama have pretty much been neutralized as threats due to their freedom fighting efforts.
Well, looks like they’re going for the dependability card.
At the end of the day, they’re not attacking Christians and they’re knocking off Jihadists in Syria, Iraq, and Lebanon.
I think what Hezbollah is doing is good. This way, Lebanese Christians can defend their families against AL Nusra and the Islamic State.
