Hillary Clinton Says White House Will Sue Over Arizona Immigration Law

cbsnews.com/8301-503544_162-20008066-503544.html

"According to President Obama and Attorney General Eric Holder, the Justice Department is currently in the process of deciding whether or not to file suit over Arizona's controversial immigration law, which Mr. Obama has called "misguided" and potentially discriminatory.

According to Secretary of State Hillary Clinton, however, the decision has already been made.

"President Obama has spoken out against the law because he thinks that the federal government should be determining immigration policy," she said in an interview with an Ecuadorean television station flagged by The Right Scoop. "And the Justice Department, under his direction, will be bringing a lawsuit against the act."

Another step down the slippery slope of state's rights vs. federal imposition.

Oh, did he and Holder finally getting around to reading the law? That's nice. Instead of doing something about the illegal invasion of our country, lets sue. That'll fix it.

So, how does she plan to handle the little problem of the Federal law or are we supposed to ignore that?

Exactly, they have nothing to offer but are against this. Perhaps our "Executive" branch of government could begin enforcing some of the federal laws.

Oh, bring it on!! This one will go down in flames for the Administration. All the Arizona law does is enforce the Federal Law. And truly this is a Constitutional battle over State rights. Do the Feds have the right to tell the States what to do in their own states? The founders must be turning over in their graves. This is the kind of stuff they spilled their blood to stop.

We haven't heard anymore about the lawsuits brought by various states to stop the Obama Administration over the healthcare law, either.

Has any Administation ever been more anti-Constitution than this one?

Dontcha know? It isn't really about the law being discriminatory or anything like that. Uncle Sam just doesn't like it when the states do whatever they want. It's really about Arizona stepping on Uncle Sam's toes. :p

As we are oft reminded, Obama is a Constitutional scholar. He knows what's best for the rest of us. Don't bother yourself with Constitutional details. Leave that up to Professor Obama.

YOU DON'T UNDERSTAND:

So far, threats have worked extremely well.

Elliott Spitzer did very well against Wall Street with his threats.

And his Attorney General replacement who will become the next NYS governor is also doing well with threats.

And then they browbeat the Wall Street guys into accepting the bailout money.

And then they threatened BP and got $20 billion.

The only problem will be when people stop being cowed by this bunch of Cloward-Piven / Rules for Radicals bullies.

These people have given up on the U.S. Constitution's original intent. They have even given up on the idea of the Constitution as a "living document" ... where they are now is pure Chicago thuggery. Al Capone with a law degree.

i'm shocked!

**Hillary Clinton, a woman who has Margaret Sanger (founder of Planned Parenthood & an avowed racist ) as one of her heroes?

A woman who, as First Lady, was present when Blessed Mother Teresa spoke against abortion at the Nation Prayer Breakfast in 1994 saying; "But I feel that the greatest destroyer of peace today is abortion, because it is a war against the child, a direct killing of the innocent child, murder by the mother herself." yet Ms. Clinton still supports abortion! (Read Blessed Mother Teresa's words here priestsforlife.org/brochures/mtspeech.html Listen here; priestsforlife.org/audios/mother-teresa-speech.mp3 )

Jesus warned us about these sad, misguided people; "You are of your father the devil, and your will is to do your father's desires. He was a murderer from the beginning, and has nothing to do with the truth, because there is no truth in him. When he lies, he speaks according to his own nature, for he is a liar and the father of lies." (JN 8:44)**

This is so bizzare. If the feds were to win on this one, no state would ever have to enforce or even recognize federal law. The only law enforcement personnel that could enforce federal drug laws, federal gun laws, etc. would be federal agents.
