History channel's WWII

Is anyone else watching this? :

I've seen WWII footage many times throughout my life, but never in color. It always seemed so distant and other worldly in black and white. The color version makes all the difference! The soldiers are all so young and smiling in a lot of the footage. Seems like this could have happened yesterday. And the scenes of death and destruction are heart-wrenching...
For me, it really brings home the sacrifices made by past generations so that we can live in freedom. It should be mandatory watching for kids at high school level.
I remember watching a movie in high school called "Night in Fog" about the Jewish holocaust. Much of it was hard to watch, but it really stuck with me for 30some years. Images like these are very important to keep alive.

Watching it right now. The color film is amazing.
