So glad that you're trying to listen to Him! As you said spending time in nature is where you feel Him. Nature is good because it is clean and untouched. God's creation is before you.
The best conversation to have with Jesus is through silence. The Holy Spirit speaks in a low voice in your head so you may miss it if there are other sounds that distract you.
Don't worry about "Not knowing how to pray to Jesus inside the Host." Just speak to Him. He is your friend, father and companion. In the car while driving, try not to listen to music or talk on the phone.
Another thing if you can, follow the Sacraments like attend mass daily, go to confession regularly, at least once a month. Doing this alone will help clear your head and concentrait when you need to.
In addition if you can attend a retreat, that is always good. It's a place full of prayers and peace. The Holy Family is totally present there.
Trust in God, use His angels for help. Build a relationship with them. Ask them, God and the Saints for everything. Have faith when you ask and it will happen. At the end of asking or praying say, "May your will be done." If you can get a Miraculous Medal and wear it close to your heart, please do. This will help very much so. I consider it a "Holy Microphone."
These are what you can do on your own but if you really want to discern and seek into your vocation, get in touch with a Spiritual Director. God bless!

Thank you for your insightful reply =)
I truly feel closest to God when I'm in nature - sometimes even closer than I feel when I'm in a church environment. I become filled with this deep sense of awe, and at times have felt something akin to euphoria or ecstasy. I can't really describe it well enough, but it's an amazing thing for me.
Silence is helpful when I need to talk to God, and I try to seek Jesus in the quiet moments of my day. I sometimes find myself praying or thinking of God spontaneously.
I really want to go to Adoration a bit more, but at this point in time I don't feel as comfortable as I would like. My mind doesn't focus well enough, and it's awkward for me. I'm going to pray for God and Jesus to help me to be strong, and maybe try and go to Adoration sometime in the near future.
I go to Mass each Sunday, but there were periods during highschool and at university when I was going on weekdays too. There is a church on my university campus and the Masses are quite nice and short, but last year my attendance there dwindled. I'm hoping to try and pick it up again this year. I haven't been to Confession in a while, so going more regularly would probably be a great help for me. I've always liked going on retreats or reflections, so that might be a nice thing to try doing.
I've begun to read the Bible more, and have written down some of my favourite Bible quotes to reflect on in quiet moments. They help direct my thoughts to God and invoke a great sense of wonder and passion in me.
Recently I began saying "May your will be done" when I pray. It's helped me to remember that everything is up to Jesus and to God, and that even when things don't go my way, they're happening according to a much greater, perfect will =)
I wear a medal each day picturing the Sacred Heart of Jesus on one side and Mary and the Infant Jesus on the other. The Sacred Heart is an inspiring, meaningful image for me. It reminds me of Jesus' incredible sacrifice and love, and has even sparked a few religious discussions.
