How do we know the entire bible is inspired?

Why did the early Church decide to form the bible? How do we know the bible is the inspired Word of God?

What made the early Church come to the truth of the bible being inspired by God?

All Christians realize that if God has revealed Himself by communicating His will to man, man must be able to know with assurance where that revelation lies. Hence the need for a list (i.e. canon) of books of the Bible. In other words, man needs to know without error (i.e. infallibly) what the books of the Bible are. There must be an authority which will make that decision.

The authority of the Church guided by the Holy Spirit concluded that these books are inspired by God. Sacred Tradition also played a major role in this process.
