How do you pronounce "Jerome"?

…as in, the Church Father?

Sorry if this seems like a silly question to post, but although I’ve seen him referenced all over the place, I haven’t seen a phonetic pronunciation yet.

That’s how I’ve always heard it.

You could also phonetically render it JUR - OHM.

Thanks, that’s what I thought was correct, but somewhere I thought I heard it pronounced “JER-uh-mee” (like “Jeremy”).

I wanted to be sure! A good way to ruin your own credibility is by pronouncing your source’s name incorrectly! :o
