Hundreds Turn Out to Oppose Satanic "Black Mass," Pray for Cancelation

#1

In response to the black mass to be held in Oklahoma City’s Civic Center, braving multiple storm warnings, Catholics nearly filled Phoenix’s cathedral in Arizona to respond as they prayed the rosary, sang hymns and adored the eucharist. A black mass is held to worship Satan, where the a eucharist stolen from a Catholic church is desecrated. The detestation Catholics have for such an event is manifestated by the fact that this crowd of Catholics responded so in a different state from Oklahoma City.

Praying with them.

I will ask our Pastor about having such a Mass here. Maybe we can all do this. I hope there are many more prayers said to stop this. I will be one of those praying.

I am still amazed at the lack of comprehension on the part of those who are hosting such an obscenity as this of the magnitude of offense to the community at large this will be if it is allowed to happen. This isn’t just offensive to Catholics, but there are those among our separated brothers and sisters in Christ who are also totally offended and disgusted by this sin against religion. Why those in charge of the place where it is to occur do not see this, I have no idea. Amazing.

I will be praying against this outrage as well.

I have posted numerous questions and comments on the Facebook page of the Ok City civic center where this is taking place. The office people say that anyone can book the hall, basically. But I find it hard to believe that they would allow, say, a Holocaust denier, or the KKK, or some such group to rent the hall. Any organization that has meeting rooms probably has a policy about this kind of thing. I would think that there will be lots of protests, etc about this. It couldn’t hurt to pay their Facebook page a visit, either…

Shouldn’t a consecrated host be like Kryptonite to Satanists?

Opposition to Freedom of Religion? Opposition to Constitutional Rights and the Universal Declaration Of Human Rights? Nice.

PS Last time I read bible it was god who committed mass murders and genocide not Satan. Funny.

Say hello to the billly goats ma’am.

I don’t believe freedom of religion extends so far as to protect public orgies.

You know, I am not sure if you can find this book or not, but you might try. The title is: “Michelle Remembers.” It is a very difficult read, so take that into account. Basically it is a story by a woman who was sold by her mother to a Satanic Cult. She was tortured, abused and starved for a year in an effort by the Cult to get her to yield to Satan. She would not. (I think she was 5 at the time.)

It is horrific to read, and frightening. But, in the end you get to see how many of the community where involved in this cult, including police, government officials, doctors etc. It really sheds some light on how deeply imbedded Satanic Cults and Worship can be in our society.

I do think it best you check with your pastor about the book if you decide to read it. I found it very distressing and I am one known to have the ability to deal with some pretty difficult issues. Certainly it takes a lot of prayer and reflection. The woman who told the story (Michelle) had to get baptized before she could finish it due to the terror of what she experienced and she realized she needed the protection of God, to continue. So don’t read this without counsel.

The Bishop of that diocese has put out a memo calling for 9 days of prayer and fasting before Aug 15 and the Feast of the Assumption of Mary and has called for Novenas and even added prayers from the 1962 book of exorcism. Would it be wrong to pray the exorcism prayers alone by myself without a priest present? I want to join in the praying obviously, but these exorcism prayers…I just don’t know. Someone explain this to me please.

I am just gonna pray the Novenas.

#13

Yes total Catholic, that is correct. The Bishop is asking the laity to pray the Novena. Only the priests are to pray the Leonine Exorcism prayer.

Hail Mary,
Full of Grace,
The Lord is with thee.
Blessed art thou among women,
and blessed is the fruit
of thy womb, Jesus.
Holy Mary,
Mother of God,
pray for us sinners now,
and at the hour of our death.
Amen.

Thanks.

A government building would not be allowed to ban such groups. It would be a violation of free speech. The US Supreme Court has already ruled on such matters multiple times. For example:

National Socialist Party v. Skokie (1977)

R.A.V. v. City of St. Paul (1992)

Virginia v. Black (2003)

Snyder v. Phelps (2011)
