Hypothetical question regarding a liberalized "Catholic Church"

Good point. I’ve never been a non-Catholic myself, but generally my experience of what non-Catholics tend to think the Church teaches and professes is that they do tend to miss a lot. Of course, that’s probably not their fault; it just means that we Catholics need to do a better job of showing people the beauty, nuance, credibility, and orthodoxy of Catholic truth!

Yeah, you’re right! I didn’t really think of it that way, but I think you’re onto something: a lot of hysteria tends to mark the various discourses in our age.

Jesus said that He would be with the Church and the gates of hell would not prevail against it until the end. So, if this happened, I would be looking for Him to be returning in Glory.
