There are, unfortunately, people in this world who would see it mandatory to abort a baby that has a disability such as autism. Currently, I don't believe there is any way to tell if a baby has autism or not, until after they are born and begin to socialize. However, there are disorders that can be tested and there are people even now who work very hard to make sure that those babies that have genetic disorders or birth defects never see the light of day. I'm assuming this is what the OP is referring to.
As of yet I don't think there is. However, it is theorised that autism can be pinpointed by tracing extra chromosomes. I have Asperger's syndrome, as well as a undetermined number of duplicated chromosomes. Wanted to see if they gave me a genetic advantage. Like laser eye beams. Turns out no. Anyway, there is a common theme among autistics with extra chromosomes and in the future they might pinpoint that and use it for prenatal diagnoses, or something.
As far as a fear of being post-natally aborted with Obamacare, the OP might be referring to historical tendencies of tyrannical regimes of terminating those that disagreed with the assumed staus quo. All dictatorships begin somewhere, the best of them begin with given up freedoms. Did Hitler, yes Hitler, begin by exterminating Jews, intellectuals and those with syndromes up to and including autism? Or did he work the Reich up to snuff? It sounds sensationalist, but it isn't entirely unfair to consider.
