I need prayers

**I went to the doctor today and he is sending me to a neurologist. He said today that this is a “priority”, I think because of my symptoms and some test results that have come back indicating a problem. The doctor said that multiple sclerosis could NOT be ruled out, as I have many of the symptoms. And one of the worst problems is emotional, as I have been struggling with depression and have been really irritable, at times, with people, including one very special person. I don’t know whether the depression is a symptom or the result or both, but please pray for me. I am scared. I can handle the diagnosis(I think), but the not knowing is very hard on me. And what scares me the most is the thought of getting the lumbar puncture, believe it or not. I HATE needles, esp. anywhere near my back. **

I will pray for you. Please look into natural treatments if you do have MS.PLEASE!

We will pray a Rosary for you tonight. Just know that God is in control and nothing is going to happen to you that you and Him together can’t handle. I know it is scary, just trust in the Lord and lean not on your own understanding. (If He brings you to it, He’ll bring you through it.)

Thanks. As I said, having MS doesn’t scare me as much as the not knowing what is going on. And I HATE being depressed and cranky. It’s bad enough when we women have PMS, but I like not having mood swings the rest of the time, thank you very much!

Momofone,

I have MS. I was diagnosed 16 years ago. There have been many important breakthrough medications since then. Please pm me with questions, as a forum is probably not the right place to discuss this.
And I will pray for you!

Peace,
MSGirl

Hello there momofone,

I was reading a thread you started in September forums.catholic.com/showthread.php?t=82304. I was wondering how things worked out for you? What were the results of your test? I’ll pray for you.

I, too, have some weird symptoms so last year went through a series of neurological tests. For one week I had to run around with a wire hairdo that was very entertaining for my family. When I stood by the T.V. with 1 leg up facing west we got great reception. If I really listened hard I could tune in to the Mother Ship. All tests came back normal. Yeah! Well only partly yeah, 'cause the symptoms continue.

I took a short break from testing but need to find a different specialist in '06 maybe a vascular specialist or maybe a veterinarian. I’ve tapped out the neurologist, gynecologist, allergist. Maybe it’s time for the exorcist. All I know is within a couple of years I should know everything about myself from head to toe.

God Bless You,
Quaere Verum
