I want to die

I’m tired…I’m ready to give up.

Betrayed too many times by everyone. If I wasn’t Catholic, I would’ve done “it” already. I feel like God has abandoned me.

I don’t even know why I’m posting. Last ditch effort I guess.

Well we’re here for you. We can hook you up with some reasources that can help and I for one would be happen to talk on the phone with you if you think that might. I’m no expert but I love you and want to help. If you want my number let me know and I’ll send it right away.

Yours in Christ,
Joey Davis

Praying very hard for you.

That’s the Holy Spirit for ya! Stay strong, bucko, this too shall pass. Come Holy Spirit, fill the hearts of Thy faithful, and kindle in them the fire of Your love. Send forth Your Spirit, and they shall be created, and You shall renew the face of the earth. Amen.

Don’t ever give up. Praying for you. (.)

Saint Michael, the archangel, defend us in battle, be our defense against the wickedness and snares of the devil, may God rebuke him, we humbly pray. And do you, O’ Prince of the Heavenly host, by the power of God thrust into Hell Satan and all the other evil spirits who prowl about the world for the ruin of souls.

Amen.

Our Father who art in Heaven, hallowed be thy name.

Thy kingdom come, thy will be done on Earth as it is in Heaven.

Give us this day our daily bread.

And forgive us our trespasses, as we forgive those who trespass against us.

And lead us not into temptation, but deliver us from evil.

Amen.

Hail Mary, full of grace, the Lord is with thee.

Blessed are you among women, and blessed is the fruit of your womb Jesus.

Holy Mary, Mother of God, pray for us sinners, now and at the hour of our death.

Amen.

Prayer to Our Lady of Mental Peace

O Lady of Mental Peace,
Mother of Tranquility
and Mother of Hope,
look upon Mr Lonely in this time
of weakness and unrest.

Teach her searching heart
to know that God’s Love
for her is unchanging and
unchangeable, and, that
true human love can only
begin and grow by touching
His Love.

Let your gentle Peace -
which this world cannot give

  • be always with her.
And, help her to bring this
    same Peace into the lives
    of others.

Our Lady of Mental Peace,

  • Pray for us!
    Amen.

Jesus, Help Me!

In every need let me come to You with humble trust,
saying:
Jesus, help me!
In all my doubts, perplexities, and temptations:
Jesus, help me!
In hours of loneliness, weariness and trials:
Jesus, help me!
In the failure of my plans and hopes, in disappointments,
troubles and sorrows:
Jesus, help me!
When others fail me, and Your Grace alone can assist me:
Jesus, help me!
When I throw myself on Your tender Love as Savior:
Jesus, help me!
When my heart is cast down by failure, at seeing no good
come from my efforts:
Jesus, help me!
When I feel impatient, and my cross irritates me:
Jesus, help me!
When I am ill, and my head and hands cannot work and
I am lonely:
Jesus, help me!

Always, always, in spite of weakness, falls and short-
comings of every kind:
Most Sacred Heart of Jesus, help me and never forsake me!

Amen

Prayer Against Depression
………….By St Ignatius of Loyola

O Christ Jesus
When all is darkness
And we feel our weakness and helplessness,
Give us the sense of Your Presence,
Your Love and Your Strength.
Help us to have perfect trust
In Your protecting love
And strengthening power,
So that nothing may frighten or worry us,
For, living close to You,
We shall see Your Hand,
Your Purpose, Your Will through all things.

Amen.

Let Nothing Disturb You

Let nothing disturb you,
Let nothing frighten you,
All things are passing away:
God never changes.

Patience,
Obtains all things,
Whoever has God
Lacks nothing:
God alone suffices.

(Santa Teresa de Ávila)

Prayer for a Miracle

God of all creation, you who spoke a simple command and brought forth light from
the darkness, I ask you now to send forth your miracle-working power to heal (Mr Lonely). You cleansed the lepers, opened the eyes of the blind and by
speaking a simple command, you empowered the crippled to rise up and walk.
You sent forth your life-giving power to all those in need, including those you raised from
the dead. I ask you to send forth your healing power into Mr Lonely’s body and give him the strength to fight his illness. I ask this through my Lord, Jesus Christ, your Son, who lives and reigns with you and the Holy Spirit, one God, for ever and ever. Amen

I hope you would consider seeing a counselor.

OUR LADY, COMFORTER OF THE AFFLICTED

Immaculate Virgin Mary, Mother of God and our most compassionate Mother, we present ourselves in thy sight in all humility, and with full confidence we implore thee for thy maternal patronage.

Thou hast been proclaimed by Holy Church the Comforter of the Afflicted, and to thee constant recourse is had by the sorrowful in their afflictions, the sick in their maladies, the dying in their agony, the poor in their straitened circumstances, those who stand in all manner of need in both public and private calamities; and from thee they all receive consolation and strength.

Our dearest Mother, turn upon us also, wretched sinners that we are, thy merciful eyes, and graciously accept our humble and confident prayers. Aid us in all our spiritual and temporal necessities, deliver us from all evil and especially from sin, which is the greatest evil, and from all danger of falling into it; obtain for us from thy Son Jesus every blessing of which thou seest we stand in need both in soul and body, and especially the greatest blessing of all, which is Divine grace. Comfort our spirits, troubled and afflicted in the midst of the many dangers that threaten us, and the countless miseries and misfortunes that beset us on every side. This we ask through that immense joy which filled thy pure soul in the glorious Resurrection of thy Divine Son.

Obtain tranquillity for Holy Church, help and comfort for her visible Head, the Sovereign Pontiff, peace for Christian princes, refreshment in their pains for the Holy Souls in Purgatory; for sinners, the forgiveness of their sins, and for the just, perseverance in well-doing. Receive us all, our most tender Mother, under thy loving and mighty protection, that we may be enabled to live virtuously, die holily and attain to everlasting happiness in Heaven. Amen.

Peace

Please, don’t do anything drastic. I was where you are and still am. Without too many details and a long story, I was raised in an extremely abusive household, to say the least. I’m losing my home of 13 years and will be evicted on May 11th; I still have no place to go. I have to begin again at age 55. Please, there are so many stories of those who attempted suicide and had regrets at the last minute. It’s one of the things that keeps me going:

You are NOT alone. I’m with you. :hug1:

First of all, don’t give up! Call the national suicide hotline. Call the pastor of your church and speak to him.

Praying for you.

Please seek help. Whatever you need. Talk to a parent, a friend, a mentor, a priest. See a counselor, psychologist, psychiatrist.

I’ve had a number of acquaintances commit suicide in the past couple of years. What strikes me is the pain they leave behind them- bewildered friends and family who are shocked and deeply grieving at their loss. I have no doubt that you are much more important to the people around you than you think you are.

I am praying for you.

I am a recovering self-harmer, and I have a suicide in my family. Please hang in there!. Prayers!

You are posting because you know you need help and you know you need the Lord so that is very good! My heart goes out to you as I have felt and known others that have felt as you are feeling right now. We made it and so will you but you MUST tell someone outside of the internet…call your priest!!! IF he doesn’t respond, call another priest nearby until one answers and tell them you HAVE to talk to them and as soon as possible…let them know what you have shared with us…You must tell them WHY you need to see them. Contrary to the lies your mind is feeding you now, you are valuable and are loved and God will use those nearby or at least close to help you…If you reach out. I am praying that you will!!!
Trust in His almighty power to deliver you from this “pit” you are in…!!!
IN PRAYER FOR YOU RIGHT NOW…CALL for help, NOW!
In His Infinate and Merciful Love forever,
mlz

Praying for you to beat these feelings of depression. Sending holy warriors your way.

Angel of God, my guardian dear, to whom God’s love commits me here,
Ever this day be at my side, to light, to guard, to rule, to guide… Amen…

Hail Mary, Full of Grace
the Lord is with thee.
Blessed art thou among women
And blessed is the fruit of thy womb, Jesus.
Holy Mary, mother of God,
Pray for us sinners NOW AND AT THE HOUR OF OUR DEATH Amen.
