If I die before completing RCIA, will I go to Hell?

I dropped out of RCIA last year, because I didn’t feel ready. However, I’m back in this year and am sticking with it.
I just learned I may have a heart condition. I’m concerned that if I die before completing RCIA, I’ll go to Hell because I dropped out last year.

Catechism of the Catholic Church:

**1259 **For catechumens who die before their Baptism, their explicit desire to receive it, together with repentance for their sins, and charity, assures them the salvation that they were not able to receive through the sacrament.

The fact that you were unsure or did not feel ready last year is not relevant. What is important is that you now desire to become a Catholic. Catechumens are also given a Catholic funeral (canon 1183).
