Ambiguity means that something is not clear, so the point is to better define marriage and have a clear, obvious discussion about what marriage means before it happens. I’ve seen some people leave sexual fidelity out of their marriage vows. Sometimes, it’s just assumed that neither husband nor wife will have other relations. The expectation of monogamy for a marriage must be stated upfront rather than assumed.
