In need of prayers

#1

I think a lot of people here have heard my “story” - so I will spare you the details.

I am hoping that I could ask all of the wonderful people here at CAF to offer up your prayers for me.

I am going on a Rachel’s Vineyard retreat this weekend in order to help me cope with my decision to use an IUD.

I am very nervous and completely terrified. :frowning:

There are 3 people in my life that know I am going this weekend - my husband, my closest friend, and my priest - who are all praying for me.

I was just hoping that I could get some more prayer support from you all.

Thank you so much and may God bless you always.

Prayers promised, Megan.

From a spiritual warfare perspective, this makes sense. The enemy would like to keep you in the bondage of pain and regret by giving you doubts about the retreat.

Don’t let him rob you of your healing. Pray for peace and courage. I’ll pray the same for you.

Thank you very much.

I know what you are saying - I can feel myself try to say “Oh - I think you are all better now - you don’t have to go” - ha.

When I feel the anxeity start to grow - I say a few Hail Mary’s - which really help. I don’t think I will be able to do this with Our Blessed Mother.

I hope this retreat gives you the peace you need to cope with a decision that you have made. I hope this gives the courage to be yourself and that you aren’t alone and that you can talk to anyone with out harassment. I am saying many prayers for you

God’s time may not always make sense ~ however it is always right. May this retreat offer you the healing you seek. Our Blessed Mother will be your guide.

The Memorae
Remember, O gracious
Virgin Mary, that never was
it known that anyone who
fled to thy protection, implored thy
help or sought thy intercession was
left unaided.
Inspired by this confidence,
I fly to thee,
O Virgin of Virgins and
my Mother; to thee I
come, before thee I kneel,
sinful and sorrowful;
O Mother of the Word Incarnate,
despise not my petitions, but
in thy mercy, hear and answer me.
Amen.

I just wanted to say thank you to everyone who prayed for me.

The prayer support that myself and all of us on the retreat received was incredible.

Rachel’s Vineyard provided a truly life-changing experience for me.

I would rather not say too much publicly, but I would be happy to share more if anyone wanted to PM me.

Again - thank you all so much.
