In Thanksgiving

Prayers of thanksgiving are in order for the intercession of St. Therese of Lisieux for the intentions I posted recently! I had something I had to do, I was nervous about doing it for fear that 2 out of the possible 3 outcomes were negative or hurtful. It ended up going much better than I could have imagined.

I wasn’t going to act until I got a rose from St. Therese. I was up late last night, couldn’t sleep, and it was past midnight. So I said the prayers to St. Therese that I customarily do each day, asking for a rose for my intentions. Not long after that, I was talking to a friend, and got the urge to pray the rosary–and I couldn’t recall at the moment the first two Luminous Mysteries for some reason. I looked them up, and the website where I found them had a rose wallpaper in the background. Then more roses kept popping up. Finally this morning, I did what I had to do, and it worked out so well. So thank you all for your prayers, and thanks be to God for the intercession of St. Therese and the graces he has given through her.

Ah, the power of prayer; it does work. Praying in thanksgiving with you.

Saint Michael, the archangel, defend us in battle, be our defense against the wickedness and snares of the devil, may God rebuke him, we humbly pray. And do you, O’ Prince of the Heavenly host, by the power of God thrust into Hell Satan and all the other evil spirits who prowl about the world for the ruin of souls.

Amen.

Our Father who art in Heaven, hallowed be thy name.

Thy kingdom come, thy will be done on Earth as it is in Heaven.

Give us this day our daily bread.

And forgive us our trespasses, as we forgive those who trespass against us.

And lead us not into temptation, but deliver us from evil.

Amen.

Hail Mary, full of grace, the Lord is with thee.

Blessed are you among women, and blessed is the fruit of your womb Jesus.

Holy Mary, Mother of God, pray for us sinners, now and at the hour of our death.

Amen.

Blessed be God in His angels and in His saints!
