Is it? for example, I did not choose Hell or Heaven, and if they do exist, they were imposed on us, a bet, a choice to make that we didn't ask to be a part of it, and God would be responsible for souls that exist in both Heaven and Hell and that they ended up there because they were created.
It's for the sake of argument, following the logic that If God and Hell existed.
It would be ridiculous and not wise to stand against God if you believe He exists and as He is described in a specific religion, that would not be a win situation, an all powerful being would always win.
God knows your heart. If you choose to ignore the evidence that has been presented to you, then you are choosing not to be with God. But if you were not presented with good evidence, God knows.
Basically, if you are open to the truth (aka open minded to evidence provided to you about the existence of God) and live a moral life, God may have mercy on you. But if you harden your heart and/or even work hard to convince others that God does not exist, then you very well might be choosing hell.
I pray this is helpful.
