Is it permitted by the Church to attend non Catholic weddings?

Hello Br/Sr/Fr Apologist,

My friend of about 12 years is getting married to his fiancé this coming August and I wanted to know if it was ok for me to attend? Neither of them is a Catholic, and the service will have nothing Catholic in nature and because of this I wanted to know if it would be wrong for me to attend their wedding. I am ready to do what my Church asks me and if it is wrong I will not go. I just want to know what the Church has to say on matters as this. Thank you very much for your time and God bless.
