Is it right to drink beer?

This is what I think:

There is more bad that can come out of drinking beer than there is good. If in beer we have something that can potentially be bad, in a world of pure goodness, beer would not exist. If we strive to get as close as we can to God we will lose any need or want for beer. Beer is not in Heaven because it is not pure. There are responsible drinkers but there are also irresponsible drinkers. Even if we were the responsible ones, for the sake of the irresponsible ones, if we had the choice to completely banish beer or to keep it around we should then choose to banish it knowing that it is potentially dangerous to irresponsible people. We would be protecting them and also protecting people from them because we would be taking away what causes their sin.
