Is Our Lady our mother or spiritual mother?

Hi there

I’m never sure whether to consider the Our Lady my mother or my spiritual mother, don’t want to offend either the Blessed Virgin Mary or my biological mother and fear I do by my confusion??!

Thanks for any help and God bless!

Certainly, Our Lady is not your physical birth mother. Her Son entrusted us to her care from the cross. Because of her unique role as His mother, she is the mother of our salvation. We can enlist the help of her prayers not only for our spiritual needs, but for all of our needs. She is the mother that even our own mothers can go to for such help. When we say that she is our mother,–because of who her Son is, we say more than we know.
